JoJo’s World: Walking to Epcot

Having stayed at the Boardwalk Inn the night before, JoJo takes advantage of the proximity to Epcot to walk from the resort to the park. He explains that he actually intended to take the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios. Since the Skyliner is not in operation at the moment, he will go to Epcot instead. On the walk over, JoJo tells viewers that he loves the area – for the resorts, the amenities and the restaurants.

At the International Gateway entrance to Epcot, JoJo notes that it will be his last time at Disney World before his week-long trip to Tokyo. He explains that for him, being away from Disney World for a week leads to “separation anxiety”. That’s why he remains living where he does and why he can never leave the area. (“The mouse has me.”)

JoJo starts at the France Pavilion, in the Ratatouille area. He closely examines the fountain, for the first time he claims. JoJo reminds viewers that he doesn’t care enough for the Ratatouillie attraction to want to ride it again, but he’s only seen the movie once and that he feels he should watch again. He wishes that there would be a Remy character meet and greet in France.

JoJo says today he will just be vibing at the park. He looks around in the pavilion at some perfume, which he says reminds him of when he worked at Bath and Body Works. JoJo also thinks about getting some food. He decides to get ice cream, which reminds him of another former job, at Cold Stone Creamery.

Croque Glacé review:

“Like, it’s truly like a warm brioche bun, and then you bite into it, and then there’s ice cream. So good, so good. I am content.”

~ JoJo

JoJo gets the Croque Glacé (a scoop of ice cream in a warm pressed brioche bun) at L’Artisan des Glaces. He chooses vanilla ice cream with a caramel drizzle. Outside the store, JoJo kneels and eats it, saying it’s one of the best treats at Disney World and that this is how you should spend your last day there.

Wanting something more than dessert, JoJo goes to the American pavilion and gets “Duck and dumplings”, but his favorite part is the vegetables.

After eating, JoJo waits in line for forty minutes to meet Belle. He tells her about his upcoming trip and asks for advice. She tells him that it’s all about his perspective and how he feels.

JoJo walks on, showing some of the food booths for Festival of the Arts. He goes to “Moderne”, a food location he wants to try. JoJo gets the “Angry Crab”. He says it doesn’t look appetizing but he thinks eating it will be good practice for trying new things in Japan. He tries it, but doesn’t care for it, saying he prefers Alaskan snow crabs. JoJosuggests to viewers that if they get something at Moderne, go for the scallops.

JoJo wants to ride at least one ride before leaving the park and he chooses Mission: Space (“not the green side; orange side always”). He gets in the ride vehicle and Krista mysteriously appears. He asks her what she has done that day and she says, “hanging out”.

After the ride, JoJo decides to call it a day and tells Krista he will see her when he returns from Tokyo, but then remembers he will see her again when she drives him to the airport. Actually, he sees her again immediately, as she returns with him to the Boardwalk. She and JoJo toast marshmallows at the resort before he returns home and ends the vlog.
