JoJo’s World: Vista Way Tour

JoJo Crichton at Vista Way

JoJo gives viewers a tour of his apartment and the Vista Way grounds, does a test for his custodial role, goes with Keith to the nearby Chick-fil-A, and ends with a trip to the Polynesian to watch the fireworks on the beach and visit Trader Sam’s.

At the beginning of the video is a standalone intro, with JoJo and four fellow DCPers awkwardly standing behind him, all promoting JoJo’s channel. They are inexplicably not introduced, but three of them, Austin, Keith and Christian can be recognized from JoJo’s first video. [Edit: The fourth guy is identified in the next video as Will.]

At the start of the content, it’s the morning after the events of the last video, and JoJo explains that has nothing to do, so he is playing the video game “Kingdom Hearts”. Roommate Keith arrives home from Casting and kicks JoJo off the game.

JoJo decides then it’s a good time to give viewers a tour of his apartment at Disney’s Vista Way, an apartment complex for people in the Disney College Program. He shows the shared areas of the apartment and the room that Keith and he are staying in. He shows his “favorite thing in the world”, a Sorcerer Mickey plush that JoJo has had since he was a kid.

Next, JoJo is in his car where he explains that he thought his “POET” test for his custodial role was the next day, but actually it’s scheduled for this day and he is going to be late getting there. He takes the time to vlog what is happening, instead of rushing there, and he laughs at the mention of being late. Outside the test location, JoJo talks to someone about the test and acknowledges that he’s ten minutes late already, and then he laughs about that. It seems clear what he thinks of punctuality.

Facts:

“Have a good night, have a great day. Every day is a blessed day to be alive, guys. That’s a fact. Absolutely.”

~ JoJo

JoJo completes the test, which is a test of the physical abilities that are required for the custodial role. He says that the test wasn’t hard, but the weirdest part of it to him was carrying a 50lb bag. He returns to Vista Way, where he meets up with Keith to walk around the complex to see where everything is. While out walking, JoJo literally whines that he is hungry and so he and Keith walk to the nearby Chick-fil-A. JoJo extols the benefit of having both a Wendy’s and Chick-fil-A within walking distance. At the restaurant, JoJo and Keith meet Val, who joins them at their table.

Later that night, Keith and JoJo travel to the Polynesian Resort, where they meet up with “a bunch of other people” (i.e. the same people in the video intro). They all watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks while standing on the beach. Afterward, they all go inside to go to the Trader Sam’s lounge. JoJo states that he has never been before to Trader Sam’s or the Polynesian.

The video ends with the group walking into Disney Springs, where they plan to have dinner. JoJo expresses that “every day is a blessed day to be alive.”

[3/5]  JoJo seems to be having fun settling into the Disney College Program, but there aren’t standout moments. Channel subscribers will enjoy the inside look at JoJo’s living situation and friendships, and those things would be the reason to watch if one plans to continue to view future vlogs. The fireworks and first-time Trader Sam’s visit add some Disney magic.
