JoJo is at Magic Kingdom for Tron Lightcycle / Run’s soft opening. The ride officially opens on April 4th.
JoJo explains that there is a virtual queue and Individual Lightning Lanes. JoJo used the virtual queue process and he shows that he has boarding group 37. Like other virtual queues, there is one opportunity in the early morning and a second one in the afternoon.
Joining JoJo are his friends Jamari and Farris and some of Farris’s friends who were in the St. Patrick’s Day vlog. JoJo asks Farris, “Would you say we were entering the grid today?” Farris replies, “I’ve never seen Tron, so I don’t know what that means.”
They go to the attraction and check out its new food stand, Energy Bytes. JoJo gets the two kinds of dumplings available, Beef and Broccoli and Buffalo Chicken. He also gets a Watermelon Refresher to drink.
JoJo tries to drink the refresher, but decides he needs a straw and runs off to get one, leaving Jamari holding the two bowls of dumplings. Jamari fills in for JoJo: “So JoJo’s not here right now, but we’re going to talk about the dumplings. Wow! This is (pause) a dumpling. And this is (pause) another dumpling. Wow!”
JoJo tastes the refresher and says it’s good although he usually doesn’t like slushy drinks. “Solid 8 out of 10,” he states. JoJo also says the Buffalo chicken is really yummy. He likes the beef and broccoli, but thinks the chicken dumpling is better. Farris likes the beef and broccoli.
They board the ride vehicles and JoJo and Jamari get the front row. They ride, but there was an audio problem during the ride, so they are allowed to ride a second time. JoJo gives the second ride a solid 9.5 out of 10.
Afterward, JoJo goes to the Sword in the Stone. He witnesses five people raise the sword, as Disney continues to do the right thing and makes JoJo see people far more deserving than himself raise the sword.
