JoJo’s World: The Mandalorian and Grogu

Roaming Grogu at Galaxy's Edge

JoJo makes a big announcement while walking into Disney’s Hollywood Studios: the Mandalorian is now appearing in Galaxy’s Edge. It’s also the first day of Flower and Garden and JoJo will be going there later, but only after he’s seen the Mandalorian.

JoJo says he was hyped to hear at D23 that the Mandalorian was going to be a character that you could meet in the park, but then was sad when he learned the character wasn’t going to be at Disney World. That’s why JoJo is surprised to find out that the Mandalorian is at Hollywood Studios Galaxy’s Edge.

Aimless:

“The best, but also worst, part about characters in Galaxy’s Edge is that they roam, and there’s no like guaranteed set times, so like I have no idea if he’s here or if he’s going to be back for the rest of the day. I literally just have to walk aimlessly around, and normally I’m doing that for Rey, but I don’t care about Rey today. I’ve moved on.”

JoJo goes into Galaxy’s Edge and stands near where he’s heard that the Mandalorian comes out. There are other people standing there waiting also.

JoJo decides to keep walking and goes to the marketplace. He says the Mandalorian can only appear in the marketplace (looking for bounty), in keeping with the overall theming of Galaxy’s Edge.

JoJo had planned to eat at Epcot, so now he’s hungry. He gets a Cold Brew Black Caf At Kat Saka’s Kettle. JoJo vibes in the marketplace drinking his coffee, waiting, and then walks through the stores looking at the merchandise.

JoJo talks to a guest and says, “Still no Boba Fett.” The guest responds, “Boba Fett?” JoJo says he’s so hyped that he’s forgetting [the character he’s there to see]. The guest says that Boba Fett is a Mandalorian and JoJo says, “I guess I’m not wrong.” (JoJo’s wrong.)

Eventually, the Mandalorian does appear, carrying Grogu in a basket. JoJo shows all the people, including Tim Tracker, taking pictures of the characters. There’s a lot of people surrounding the Mandalorian. JoJo thinks he may not be able to take a selfie with him that day, but can in the future.

JoJo does get close and says hi to Grogu. Afterward, he talks to another guest and asks if he got to see the Mandalorian. JoJo tells him, “I see your shirt,” thinking it shows the Mandalorian. The guest says, “I got Boba on my shirt.”
