JoJo’s World: Sword in the Stone, Again

Having run of out of vlog ideas after returning from Japan, JoJo goes back to the subject that has gotten him the most views (at least on YouTube Shorts). He’s going to ride the wave of trying to pull the Sword in the Stone as long as he can. This is another in a set of retreads during the last three weeks. Giving out flowers, discussing news, building a lightsaber, attending Flower & Garden first day, all done before.

Lightsabers have been JoJo’s most viewed subject matter for regular YouTube videos. With that subject matter and the sword, JoJo has been going for the big guns, presumably to bolster his view count. His other most viewed subject is “riding every ride”. He already did that recently in Tokyo, so maybe we won’t see him add that to the set of retreads any time soon.

JoJo starts his adventure at the Grand Floridian, where he eats at the Grand Floridian Cafe. “I gotta take steps, I gotta get on the right path, right, so we have to start with a strong breakfast,” he says. After eating, JoJo tries to walk to the Magic Kingdom, but the way is blocked. He takes the boat across the lagoon instead.

Inside the park, JoJo decides to get in line to meet Mulan. “Mulan knows how to use a sword so maybe she can give us some tips,” JoJo presumes. She apparently recognizes him and laughingly asks him how his sword training is going.

After watching some of Festival of Fantasy parade, and explaining to viewers he has some ideas that may help with the sword, he gets in line for an attempt. At the stone JoJo boasts about how many views his sword videos have had, and that if he pulls it that will “break the internet”. He’s so different than who he was when he started his channel.

JoJo fails again in his attempt (Disney is doing something right, deciding who and who can’t pull it), and then he brings his girlfriend Krista over to try. She has succeeded before, but not this time. “I don’t have the power today,” she says. JoJo says when he fails to pull it, it hurts in general and specifically hurts his head.

Krista not knowing Enchanted Tales with Belle exists

JoJo and Krista go see Enchanted Tales with Belle. “I didn’t even know it existed,” Krista admitted. After that they return to the stone.

JoJo uses a guest, Noah, to make a TikTok video of JoJo offering him a $100 to pull the sword successfully. Noah tries to inspire himself by saying, “Faith, trust and pixie dust!” He is not successful. He tells JoJo that JoJo should give him something anyway and JoJo gives him a hug. JoJo tries again with Noah, but this time with all of Noah’s friends. No change in the outcome.

JoJo and Krista walk to Tomorrowland, talk to Stitch, and watch some of Mickey’s Magical Friendship Fair. They then return to the stone again. JoJo tries, and then gets a guest to try. She fails, and JoJo tries several times to hint to her that she’s done with the attempt as she continues to pull. “It’s not happening… It’s not working… Nice try… That’s okay…” JoJo prompts.

JoJo and Krista move on, and after watching some of Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade, they spend some time in Frontierland. JoJo takes a turn at the Shootin’ Arcade, talks to roaming Country Bear Jamboree characters, and visits the construction of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Before returning to Fantasyland, JoJo gets a glass of water from Columbia Harbour House. He says, “This water literally just tastes and reminds me of Splash Mountain. I can’t really describe it but, like literally the smell and the taste. It literally just is Splash Mountain.” (So that’s where the water went.)

JoJo makes one more attempt at the sword, this time taking advice to wear a ring. He buys a set of toy rings in a shop and while wearing one, tries to lift the sword. “The ring doesn’t work,” he reports.

JoJo warns at the end of the vlog that this video may be a part one, with more to come. (Oh, great.)
