JoJo’s World: Shopping for Dubai

JoJo is at the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets mall with friends Ryan and Jake shopping for an upcoming trip. JoJo says viewers don’t know yet where they are going. However, during his livestream on Freedom of the Seas, he let the cat out of the bag, although not explicitly, that they are going to SeaWorld in Abu Dhabi.

The first stop at the mall is the Nike store. There, Jake wants some lightweight, breathable shirts because it will be hot at their destination. He’d also like to get some shorts, and he believes he may need pants if they go anywhere fancy.

Talking about the trip, Ryan is excited to be going. When JoJo asks them what they are looking forward to, Ryan jokingly says he is looking forward to not coming back and just staying there. Ryan’s girlfriend Jess, who is also present along with an unintroduced guy, looks at him disapprovingly.

They leave Nike and JoJo asks if they know where they are going. Jake says they’re looking for nice lightweight pants at Banana Republic. JoJo goes along, admitting, “These guys know more about shopping than I do. I almost never shop. The only merchandise I ever wear is Disney, so…”

At this point Jess decides to take the lead and takes them to shop at American Eagle. There JoJo asks if ripped jeans would be allowed at their destination. Jake says they would.

They leave American Eagle and JoJo asks Ryan what his shopping objective is. “I need to find myself some lightweight pants that are like, you know, something stylish, but also can withstand the heat without me sweating buckets, because we are going to end up sweating buckets. Where we are going is so much hotter than here.” Jake says it’s not only hotter at the destination, it’s more humid. JoJo jokingly asks who planned this trip and Jake replies, “You did.”

Next they go to the Disney Character Warehouse, since there’s no way that JoJo would pass it by without going in. They spend time looking at all the discounted Disney merchandise.

After that they go to the Tommy Hilfiger store to see its Disney collection. Ryan finds a Mickey Mouse hoodie there that he likes and he gets in a long checkout queue to buy it. Meanwhile, JoJo and Jake check out the in-store coffee shop, Foxtail Coffee Co.. There they both get a coffee drink. JoJo explains that he needs the caffeine because he is going on a mini trip the next day, a cruise on Freedom of the Seas with a special guest.

Ryan leaves the checkout line and puts the hoodie back on the rack because the wait in the queue was too long. They leave the store and go to Lululemon and there JoJo sees his friend Jeb working behind the counter. Jed had been working at Tokyo Disneyland when JoJo was there.

Because the shopping at the outlets mall was unproductive, they decide to go to Disney Springs to shop. As they walk out, JoJo asks Jake what he hopes to get out of the trip. Jake says, “This trip is in an area where I’ve never been before, so I want to get a new, good experience of this culture, I guess. I do want to experience their culture because I’ve never been to this side of the world before.”

At Disney Springs they shop at the store Shore. “I’ve always gotten nice things from Shore, either if it’s a cruise or a trip to a hot location, I really like their material of shirts here. It’s definitely a solid store for vacation, for sure,” JoJo says approvingly. JoJo points out the shirts at Shore are expensive, but since JoJo is apparently awash with YouTube money and has no problem spending that money extravagantly, he gets a shirt there for the trip anyway.

Based on Jake’s recommendation, JoJo goes to Uniqlo to look for lightweight pants. He find ones he likes, but they only have long lengths. The store agrees to hem them for JoJo by Saturday.

They next go to Fabletics, following Ryan. Ryan sees some shorts he likes and Jakes suggests they all get matching shorts. JoJo says the rest can get matching shorts, but he won’t. He got short shorts with Jete, but won’t get matching shorts with Ryan. Okay.

Finally, JoJo announces their destination is Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. They will be visiting theme parks there, like SeaWorld, Ferrari World, and Warner Bros. World.
