JoJo’s World: Riding Every Ride Disneyland Paris

JoJo and Jete arrive at Disneyland Paris, ready to attempt riding every ride at both parks in one day. It’s something that has “never been done before on this channel”, JoJo declares.

The duo start their day at Disneyland Park. After taking in the sights of Main Street, which include seeing Mickey and Minnie in their DP 30th anniversary attire, JoJo is quickly tempted away from the mission to take a picture of Sleeping Beauty Castle. They walk through the castle to the Fantasyland side, and there JoJo sees a Sword in the Stone. Of course he then does a video of him trying to pull the sword, and of course he is unsuccessful in the attempt.

Their intent is to ride the Indiana Jones ride first and they head to Adventureland for it. However, they see a pirate ship and the pirate themed area of Pirates of the Caribbean and feel compelled to ride that attraction first. After the ride, JoJo declares that “Disney World’s Pirates is the worst.” Jete adds, “That’s an easy opinion.” About the DLP Pirates, JoJo says, “That was awesome, though. I didn’t want it to end!”

Theory of Evolution:

“Every time we do an all rides video we learn, we adapt, we grow. One would say evolve into better content theme park riders.”

They get to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril and board it with only a 15 minute wait. Not only does JoJo enjoy the ride, he feels he showed great skill in being able to hold onto his phone while using it to record the ride. “I am convinced I can record any ride now, like in the world. We were literally going upside down. This was strapped onto me, one hand. I was recording with my iPhone in the other!”

Next, after spinning around on the Mad Hatter’s Teacups (“We haven’t had a chance to sit down all day, so this is our relaxing moment.”), they take a leisurely trip through It’s a Small World. JoJo counts this as their “fourth small world”, having been on the ride in Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disney World previously. Jete thinks its the best of them.

Using Disneyland Paris’ Premier Access to skip the line, the two ride Peter Pan’s Flight. Then it’s time for lunch and they eat at Toad Hall Restaurant, where JoJo gets fish and chips.

Following lunch, it’s Big Thunder Mountain, using Premier Access again. Liking its underground section in particular, JoJo declares it to be “the best Big Thunder I’ve ever been on, hands down!”

Phantom Manor is next. JoJo says the spooky ride is “awesome” and appreciates the differences between it and the Haunted Mansion in WDW.

After a 45-minute wait, JoJo and Jete ride the Disneyland Railroad, completing eight rides at Disneyland Park. With that, they head to Walt Disney Studios Park, to get its rides out of the way, since that parks closes first.

At Studios, JoJo is enthralled as they walk through the Studio 1 building. “We got a Hollywood Boulevard inside right now!” he exclaims.

Coming out of it, they go straight to Avengers Campus, and board the Flight Force roller coaster. JoJo explains that it’s a Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster that has been rethemed, and he doesn’t think the Avengers theme added anything to it.

Using Premier Access again, they swing into action on the Web Slingers ride. JoJo beats Jete, despite JoJo also recording the ride. JoJo tells Jete that if Jete had won, JoJo would have bought him a Spider-Man bubble wand. “But you didn’t, so no bubble wand for you,” he teasingly tells Jete.

After dropping several stories on Tower of Terror and spinning on Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, JoJo and Jete are stuck on Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop for 30 minutes. They survive the drop and speed through Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin and use Premier Access on Crush’s Coaster. JoJo describes the coaster as “Space Mountain but going backwards.” They use single rider to experience RC Racer, and then go on the Cars Road Trip.

Their 20th ride of the day is Ratatouille, which Jete has never been on despite working at the France pavilion in Epcot as it was being built. JoJo is excited that Jete finally gets to experience it. After the ride, Jete says he “loved it!”

Their final ride in Walt Disney Studios Park is Flying Carpets Over Agrabah. Then the pair go back to Disneyland Park with only four hours left until closing to complete their challenge.

After hurtling through Hyperspace Mountain, driving on Autopia, and flying on Dumbo, they take a leisurely boat ride to see the storybook scenese on Le Pays des Contes de Fées. That’s followed by another kid’s ride, Casey Jr. Le Petit Train, which leads to JoJo to say, “I’m losing my mind,” due to the long lines at the kiddie rides.

Star Tours is next, with JoJo noting that the ride is exactly the same as the Hollywood Studios version. JoJo is disappointed that the wait times posted in Disneyland Paris seem to be highly inaccurate. It causes them to go on rides that appear to have a short wait, but actually have a long one. For the challenge, Jete worries “this might be the first one we don’t get done”, but they press on with determination.

Jete beats JoJo on Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, but JoJo tells him there’s no time for him to celebrate. They do the Orbitron, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Lancelot Carousel, and finish with Les Voyages de Pinocchio.

They complete the riding every ride challenge and are pleased with their success. With the rush to do it all in a day, JoJo says, “I’m excited to come back tomorrow and actually just enjoy the parks, because I don’t even know what we saw today!”

[5/5]  It’s a good way to learn what all the rides are at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park, and get a quick review of them.
