JoJo’s World: Margaritaville at Sea Paradise 2

JoJo boards the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise ship for a two night cruise to the Bahamas. JoJo describes it as the “cheapest and shortest cruise line you can get right now.” He says he’s kind of nervous because he’s heard mixed reviews about the ship, but he wants to do it “for you guys” and give his own review.

JoJo shows the cruise terminal at the Port of Palm Beach. He shows all the things you can sign up for there before the cruise, and then he boards the ship. JoJo looks to find where the rooms are but is reminded that they are not available. He says he might do a livestream in the meantime. (He did.)

JoJo goes to the top deck and looks at the pools, hot tubs and bars. He notices there is a lot of open space on deck. Looking at the deckchairs, he says that one thing he is going to do on this cruise that he has not done before is tan.

JoJo talks about drink packages and specials and gets his first drink, a Corona. Sitting out on deck, someone, a Bahamian, tells him that passengers can start their cruise in the Bahamas, so there will be some new people who will board there for the trip back to the U.S.

JoJo starts his livestream. As shown in that video, he gets a watermelon margarita. “It’s fire. It’s very, very sweet,” he remarks.

After his livestream, JoJo goes below deck to get lunch. At the Port of Indecision Buffet, he get some pasta. “I know, really random,” he says. He gives it a 6 out of 10. “I did get chicken in this and the chicken is like weird tiny chunks,” he reports.

After eating, JoJo goes to his cabin and does a tour. Right away, JoJo notices that he has flying bugs in his room. He kills several of them and then does his usual bed check. (“Definitely a little hard.”) He sees another bug and kills it, believing it to be the last one. JoJo says he would have given the room a 7 out of 10, but with the bug situation, he has to drop it to a 6 out of 10. Later in the vlog, JoJo explains that after complaining to Guest Services about the bugs, they give him a different cabin.

Back on deck, JoJo joins the sail away party, including doing the limbo and some freestyle with other passengers. Among the dancers, JoJo sees his friend Jete and Jete’s friend, Elle. JoJo acts surprised to see him. (They have both faked so many situations before, it’s not possible to know if JoJo knew Jete would be there or not.)

JoJo talks to Elle about this being her first cruise experience. She explains that she hasn’t been on one before because she’s scared of not knowing how big boats work being so heavy. JoJo tells her that his girlfriend Krista has also wondered how boats stay afloat.

That evening, JoJo goes to dinner and gets escargot, shrimp, and beef shortribs. He gives the dinner a 6 out of 10. “Honestly, the best way I can describe the short rib is like my dad getting a big batch of it from Costco and making it,” he explains plainly.

JoJo goes out with Jete and Elle and they visit a piano bar and night club. Jete tells Elle that no one cares about her knowledge of ship directions, which hurts her feelings. Jete gives her a fake apology and the night continues.

At the night club, they dance. JoJo tires and after getting some pizza to go, retires for the night.
