JoJo’s World: Last Day at Tokyo Disneyland

On JoJo’s final full day in Tokyo, he returns to Tokyo Disneyland. Upon arriving, he notices lighter crowds compared to his previous visit. Later, he learns the park is closing early, deterring some visitors. JoJo doesn’t mind the shortened hours. He’s happy he can ride so many rides with little waiting.

As he enters, JoJo spots a Mickey Mouse meet-and-greet. He explains they use a lottery system here for some character encounters and shows. Trying his luck, JoJo gets the Mickey’s Magical Music World show for later in the day.

The first ride of the day is Monsters Inc. Ride & Go Seek in Tomorrowland. JoJo explains that riders use a flashlight to shine on the the safety helmets throughout the ride and it produces an interactive experience. After the ride, JoJo stays in Tomorrowland, but says it’ the weakest land at Tokyo Disneyland. He rides Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters and talks about the similarities and differences compared to Disney World’s. He says, “It’s so cool seeing like a very familiar queue, but different all at the same time. I’ve been saying that a lot this weekend.” His score on the ride ends up lower that he usually gets at Magic Kingdom.

For lunch JoJo goes to Tomorrowland Terrace, where he gets a Baymax Burger that has pork and egg in it. He says he needs to not spill anything on the pullover he’s wearing, because it’s Jete’s. During this trip, JoJo has gotten wine on his sleeve on Tokyo DisneySea and poured his drink in his lap at Super Nintendo World, so it’s good for him to be cautious.

JoJo walks to Westernland and is amazed to see that people are not lining up for the parade, even though it’s only thirty minutes until it starts. It’s another example of it being a low crowd day. Since there’s no need to grab a spot, JoJo spends time with Woody and Jessie, who are roaming in Westernland, and then gets in a five minute queue for Big Thunder Mountain. JoJo says the queue is cooler than MK because you get to walk through the cave system as you make your way up the mountain. After the ride, JoJo compares it to the other BTMs he has been on and says this one is “awesome” and seems longer than the others.

JoJo then watches the Dreaming Up! parade. Afterward he goes to the Haunted Mansion, but after recording some footage around the exterior, he leaves, realizing it’s time for Mickey’s Magical Music World. After that show, he describes it as “beautiful” and “awesome” and says he had a blast.

Instead of going right back to Haunted Mansion, JoJo goes on Pooh’s Hunny Hunt. JoJo loves the theming and the ride. (“Holy moly! That is the best Pooh Bear ride on this world. Like, what? It’s a trackless! That was like Mickey and Minnie’s, but just Pooh Bear, and honestly it was better.”)

After Pooh, JoJo goes back to Haunted Mansion. Then he walks around the park a bit, before going to China Voyager restaurant, where he gets the chicken and shrimp in pork-chicken soup. JoJo likes that he gets to eat soup when it’s cold outside (unlike at Epcot, where gets ramen and it’s really hot outside). He likes the soup. (“Oh my god, that’s hot, but that’s good. Oh my god, that’s filling me up the right way!”)

After eating, JoJo boards the Western River Railroad. Besides the expected views of the park, JoJo is surprised to see dinosaurs included on the ride. (“That was the most random thing that I’ve seen today, but like, the best surprise. Oh my god, I love it!”)

JoJo spends some time with characters from The Jungle Book and then characters from Pinocchio. He stops at a food cart and gets a long brown, dookie looking log and bites into it. JoJo says it’s good and that it’s filled with chocolate. He also thinks it may be a potato.

In Toontown, JoJo rides Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, and then goes back to Tomorrowland to ride The Happy Ride with Baymax. JoJo loves the dance routines that go along with the ride. He wants to learn the routines, but isn’t able to master it by the time he gets on. He puts forth his best effort though.
