JoJo’s World: Flower and Garden 2019

Though this vlog is supposed to be about Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival 2019 opening day, the first half takes place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. At the start, JoJo walks into DHS, and says Studios is his favorite park, while Animal Kingdom is a close second. However, on this day JoJo is lamenting the long wait times in the park. On Sunset Boulevard, he shows that the Tower of Terror has a 150 minute wait, and speaking to a cast member, Harry (who is a friend of his sister’s from back home), he learns that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is temporarily closed. Given the situation, JoJo leaves that area and decides to use a FastPass for his favorite ride at Hollywood studios. JoJo reveals, “I love this ride. I’m only trying to get better at it. It’s Toy Story Mania.”

As he nears Toy Story Land he meets up with his girl du jour, Britney. He says she’s never been in TSL, although she works at Hollywood & Vine. He tells viewers who may see her at work, “Say ‘hi’ to her. I’m sure she’ll say ‘hi’ back.” Britney replies, “Maybe.”

In the queue for Toy Story Mania, JoJo brags that he’ll beat her at the game. She says it’s “super unfair”, since he’s been practicing. JoJo says they have previously gone bowling together and she states she beat him at that. After the ride, JoJo makes a point of telling viewers that he won, but she counters that her accuracy was way better. (Considering all the awkwardness, this is probably the last time we see Britney.)

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

“I truly just love the rides here you know there’s a little bit of thrill in it. And honestly I don’t even know what’s going to happen when the new Star Wars world comes out. I don’t know what it’s called, but yeah, it’s going to be chaos when that world comes in fall.”

~ JoJo

They watch Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple for a while. JoJo remarks, “It’s the best show in this park. You get to watch little kids just beat up on bad guys. It’s great.”. After that, they go on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which is now open. After the ride, they meet up with Emily and original Austin and go to see a display of what Star Wars: Galaxy’s edge will look like.

Moving on, JoJo and Britney decide to use JoJo’s Fastpass to go on Tower of Terror. Afterward, it’s become evening and they leave the park. JoJo states that now he’s going to Epcot for Flower & Garden.

At Epcot, JoJo rides the tram with Austin and Emily from the parking lot to the park entrance. Inside the park, JoJo starts showing the topiaries, which, not knowing the right word, he refers to as “things”. He’s enthralled by the topiaries of Goofy, Pluto, Mickey and Minnie, Donald, Chip and Dale, and Huey, Dewey and Louie. He asks, “Don’t you think it’s beautiful? I think it’s awesome.”

After the topiaries in the front of the park, the trio looks at the topiaries in the pavilions. In China, JoJo loves a topiary of a panda and a baby panda. JoJo gushes, “Oh my god, it’s so adorable. Don’t you think guys?” At the Africa outpost, he sees a topiary of Rafiki holding baby Simba. He says, “Comment down below which ‘bushes’ you like the most. This one might be my favorite.” In Germany, finally, JoJo says Austin told him that the “bushes” are actually called topiaries.

Once they get to Japan, JoJo gets a Ichigo Sun drink (strawberry lemonade with sake), which he really likes. “It’s like a strawberry in your mouth,” he comments.

In America, they watch the band Journey perform. After the concert, in France, JoJo says the Beauty and the Beast topiary is so pretty, but in Canada, says Bambi might be the best one.

The ending of the vlog is Illuminations, followed by an outro with Austin and Emily.
