JoJo’s World: Flight From Europe

JoJo begins the vlog by telling viewers the plan for the day: “It is 3:50 in the morning and we are in Paris, France, and we’re traveling all the way to Orlando, Florida.”

JoJo and Jete travel to the Paris airport, where JoJo checks his luggage for the EasyJet flight to their layover in London. They are at the airport earlier than JoJo likes. He usually cuts it close, and he explains, “I think the most annoying thing about the airport is I feel like when I get here early, I’m here way too early. We have a whole hour until we take off . . . I’m just thinking about the 30 extra minutes of sleep I could have gotten.”

The two get breakfast at Starbucks when it opens, but Jete is not fully awake. JoJo comments, “I think the funniest form of Jete is ‘airport Jete’, because he’s never awake, which is fair because we keep booking these early morning flights.” Despite this being another early morning start, JoJo admits to Jete, “This has been such a better experience compared to my flight to Paris.”

They board their flight for their hour-long trip to London Gatwick. After landing at the destination, JoJo says he plans to use the six hours they will be there to edit vlogs from his trip.

Since they won’t be exploring England outside the airport, they decide to “go outside for a couple seconds just to breathe the air.” Outside, JoJo says, “smells like any other airport honestly.” With no one nearby, they both comically try doing an English accent.

Back inside, they find they can’t check in until 11 o’clock, so JoJo spends his time working on his vlogs. He tries not to sleep, so that he can sleep okay on the plane. JoJo finishes editing the Athens to Paris vlog and then goes to eat at an airport restaurant called Giraffe. He says he wants to try English food, despite having heard that “England doesn’t have the best food”. He gets the curry chicken with noodles.

Before their Norse Atlantic flight to Orlando, JoJo gets an upgrade to premium class, leaving Jete in the regular cabin. JoJo explains to viewers the benefits of the premium class seating. Once on board, JoJo also enjoys the complimentary alcohol service that comes with premium class.

A meal is served on the plane, chicken with asparagus. JoJo declares, “I’m very content right now with my food, my salad, my movie, and my beer.”

They land at Orlando’s newest international terminal, Terminal C. JoJo gives a final review of the premium cabin, stating that it was the most affordable upgrade he has ever experienced and that it provided everything he needed.

They discuss their experiences with the security in England. JoJo felt targeted due to the attention he got from recording in the airport using his huge camera. Security told him to be mindful.

Now that they are in the U.S., Jete says he wants an American cheeseburger, and JoJo says he’d like Hot Cheetos and a Mountain Dew.
