JoJo’s World: EPCOT with Taya Miller and Family

JoJo starts his vlog at Epcot by stating, “One thing I love about living in Disney World is that all your friends and family from around the world just have to come to you.” It’s the lead-in for him to say that he currently has friends at the park from out of town.

JoJo goes to Guardians of the Galaxy to meet up with the friends. Inside the attraction gift store, he finds them: his longtime crush Taya Miller and Taya’s boyfriend Liam Cole.

Even though JoJo had previously said he wasn’t going to ride Guardians of the Galaxy, he does anyway, cheating the system by getting a colluding cast member to let him, Taya, Liam, and Taya’s parents ride without paying for it. He then boasts about the shady action, presumably trying to show off to his crush Taya.

Making the situation worse, he includes the verbal ride instructions that state that recording is strictly prohibited, and then records anyway. Liam wags his finger at JoJo, acknowledging that JoJo is breaking the rules. JoJo lacks the ethical concerns to care about the admonishment.

After the ride, Liam tries to help JoJo do a video scene transition by moving his hand across the camera, but JoJo says he won’t do a transition because “that’s a lot of work.” So besides a lack of ethics, he’s also lazy.

The group then heads to Figment’s Inspiration Station, where Taya gets a cider flight and a beer flight. Because they are all different colors, Taya arranges them to form a rainbow. JoJo effusively says, “It looks so pretty! I love it!” always loving everything his crush does.

Next, Liam and Taya continue their Epcot Drink Around the World Challenge, which was already in progress. They pick up where they left off by getting a drink in Morocco.

For a twist to the challenge, the two have matching t-shirts displaying a checklist of all the country pavilions they need to visit. With each drink they have a cast member initial the completion of that country on the checklist. “This is so cool that you do this! This needs to become, like, like, a thing that everyone does!” JoJo declares.

While in Morocco, Liam sees a mural with a genie and he rubs it to make a wish. He says he wished for more wishes. JoJo tells him that the correct answer is to say, “I already have my wish,” and then points to Taya. This serves to embarrass Liam and to suggest that having Taya as his girlfriend is what JoJo would wish for.

The group then eats at Katsura Grill in Japan, and JoJo talks about how excited he is for his upcoming trip to Tokyo Disneyland. JoJo doesn’t show them getting a drink in the American pavilion, so the location after that is Italy, where they go to Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar.

JoJo then looks at some art for sale at one of the festival booths, and he sees a Thomas Kinkade print. He says he owns a Kincade print of Aladdin (that he received as a gift sent to his P.O. box) but hasn’t hung it up yet. He promises to do it this weekend, but given his history of making false statements, it’s a given that he’s not going to do that.

In China, they get a ByeJoe shot, and by then JoJo appears to be under the influence. He puts his arm around Taya and has trouble drinking his shot, saying, “I think I’m done.” Liam takes the opportunity to say, “Bye, JoJo,” apparently in an attempt to wish JoJo away from his girlfriend.

The group finishes the drinking challenge at Mexico, where JoJo seemingly slurs his words. At the pavilion, they ride the Gran Fiesta Tour to mark the conclusion of the challenge. Later, they watch the nightly fireworks.

JoJo says to Taya, “Always glad to see you,” but he doesn’t say the same to Liam. When JoJo asks Taya what the best part of the day was, Liam jumps into camera view and first answers, “Alcohol!”. He then adds, “Seeing JoJo,” while making a face, indicating that he’s not being exactly truthful with that statement.

[4/5]  Liam Cole has the patience of a saint, putting up with JoJo. He’s very polite, but does manage to get in a few indications that he’s not comfortable with how JoJo shows his feeling for Taya in front of him. Taya is as nice and great a person as ever.
